Today I Am Grateful For……..

Yesterday we had the first real rain we have had in months and it was wonderul to both see and feel. I didn’t mind getting wet or that the rainbow umbrella almost turned inside out in the wind
I love the rain as it falls from the sky
Softly touching my face
and clearing the air
Rain turns brown into green
Rain fills the dams
Rain is the bushfires friend
Rain saves me time
As it waters the garden
Today I am grateful that it rained

I forget that it is summer somewhere in the world. I am grateful that I can see what is happening on the other side of the planet. I am grateful for writers like you that share life.
